Academy of Defence

American Fencers Supply Co - A large assortment of period fencing cutlery

Triplette Competition Arms - Very good prices and quality, plus a healthy sense of humor... it's where I buy the majority of my fencing gear, and you should too.

Period Archery Related Links

MericArchery - Probably the only traditional archery company online that sells used bows, at least that I know of. I can vouch for the quality and customer support he provides. Real nice guy, and I love my crossbow wicked bad!

Three Rivers Archery Supply - Providing a good deal of goods for the traditional archer, and has a good selection of products for making your own arrows and bolts.

Diana's Shaft Shop - If you've ever been to any SCA event in the East Kingdom you know of these people... really good folks, if you see 'em, say hello.

New World Arbelast - A highly recommended source for period crossbows. Takes awhile to produce, but worth the wait from what I hear.

Armour Related Links

The Arador Armour Library

Sara's Chainmail Connection

The Armour Store - Good prices, and they have a LOT of items in stock and ready to ship

The Armour Archive - My personal favorite online resource for armour information, especially if you make your own

Valentine Armouries - "Dear Santa, I'll start believing in Jesus if you leave me a suit of this company's Gothic armour under my tree this year. -Sincerely; Montanaro"

Black Hydra Armouries - Bought my stainless legs through this place; superb quality, very fast delivery, and highly reasonable prices. It's just too bad he doesn't do custom orders anymore (in fact, I'm not sure he does ANY work anymore)

Simric's Armour Projects and Patterns - If you're an armoursmith, visit this page if you wish to feel GROSSLY inadequate at your craft! I've briefly worn his Italian Armet and can honestly say that Simric's helmets are incredible. Ahh, if I only had a fat wad of cash to spend on a single helmet!

MetalMart.com - Plan to make any steel armour? This place has lots of metal!

McMaster Tools - a huge selection of metalworking tools and equipment

Kingslayer Products - period armour-making tools as well as archery supplies
