Events and Gatherings

We have several eager archers in the Freehold, ranging from "beginner" to "reasonably competent." Winter practice at the indoor Pelkey's Range in St. Albans was fun and useful. Now that the weather's nicer, we're hoping to hold outdoor archery practices this spring and summer. At the moment, the location and further details are under negotiation.

Birka is held in the Barony of Stonemarche every year in mid-winter.

This event is primarily for shopping but has some fighting and other events thrown in to keep the rest of you amused ... it's one of the larger winter events in the East Kingdom. There is fighting and usually the annual King's and Queen's Fencing Championship.

Held in September at a neat little campground in the Middle of Nowhere, Vermont.

It's our party and we'll fight if we want to, fight if we want to, you would fight too if it happened to you. Whoo-hoo!

Dress in your best (and warmest) garb and spend a few hours singing carols on Church Street in Burlington.

6/14- Practice in Warren? This is the weekend of Midsummer's in Stonemarche and it's 3rd Division Schola

6/21- No practice? There are 2 major events this weekend, Vinland Raids and Opening of the Inne

6/28- We've been asked to do a Fighting demo amongst other things in Montpelier that Saturday (Details TBA), so we'll decide closer to the date on Practice... {
